Tektronix, Keithley Products, Programs Named Finalist in Annual ACE Awards Competition

Tektronix AWG70000 and STEM Programs along with Keithley Model 2450 SMU Receive Recognition for Innovation and Industry Contributions

BEAVERTON, Ore., March. 11, 2014 - Tektronix, Inc., a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, today announced its AWG70000 Series Arbitrary Waveform Generator has been named a finalist in the prestigious ACE Awards along with the Model 2450 SourceMeter® SMU Instrument from Keithley Instruments, a Tektronix company. In addition, Tektronix was named as a finalist in the STEM Impact Award competition.

The 2014 ACE Awards, presented by EE Times and EDN, will showcase the best of the best in today's electronics industry, including the hottest new products, start-up companies, design teams, executives and more. The ACE Awards will be judged by a panel of EE Times and EDN editors as well as a panel of independent judges from across the electronics industry. ACE award winners will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 6:30 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. at The Fairmont Hotel San Jose, CA during EE Live! show. The STEM Impact Award winner will be selected by a poll of EE Times readers.

The AWG70000 Series meets this need with its unique combination of 50 GS/s sample rate performance, 16 GS of waveform memory, and 10 bit vertical resolution. It produces fast, clean signals that can be routed through a receiver or other device under test for long periods of time for truly comprehensive testing.

The Model 2450 SourceMeter SMU (Source Measure Unit) Instrument from Keithley combines the intuitive touchscreen and icon-based control that novice SMU users can appreciate with the exceptional versatility that experienced users need to learn faster, work smarter, and invent easier. The Model 2450's design, Keithley's latest generation of SMU instruments, offers a fundamentally new way for users to interact with test and measurement instruments.
