If you live in Princeton, NJ, there a good chance that you could be rubbing elbows with a genius just grabbing your morning latte at the local Starbucks. According to a recent report in TIME on the top 100 most genius places in America, Princeton is the country’s most genius city with 15.5 patents filed for every 10,000 residents.
But for an even greater chance of bumping into a genius inventor, you might just want to visit the Starbucks located in the center of the Tektronix campus here in Beaverton, OR. That’s because employees from both Nike and Tektronix stream through that Starbucks looking for a cup of morning (or afternoon) inspiration on a daily basis.
As you can see in the graphic below, the efforts of Nike and Tektronix employees over the years have combined to give Beaverton a ranking of 59.
