There is no difference between the TDS and the CSA labeled 8000 series products. They have the same features and work with all of the sampling modules. The data sheets for the two products (TDS8000Band CSA8000) do emphasize different features. However all the features described in the data sheets are standard on both products. So:
TDS8000B = CSA8000B
TDS8000 = CSA8000
The difference between the non-B and the B version instrument: the B version includes numerous acquisition hw improvements resulting in lower jitter and several other improvements. Also the the B version instruments Microsoft software is Windows 2000, the non-B instruments is Win 98.
