This is the latest Windows XP firmware (released November 2012) for the DPO7054, DPO7104, DPO7254, DPO7354, DPO/DSA70404, DPO/DSA70604, DPO/DSA70804, DPO/DSA71254, DPO/DSA71604, DPO/DSA72004, DPO/DSA70404B, DPO/DSA70604B, DPO/DSA70804B, DPO/DSA71254B/C, DPO/DSA71604B/C, DPO/DSA72004B/C, MSO70404, MSO70604, MSO70804, MSO71254, MSO71604, MSO72004, MSO71254C, MSO71604C and MSO72004C products.
This firmware release is a maintenance release which fixes a number of software defects in the product.
Some DPO/DSA/MSO70000C series instruments run the Windows 7 OS. This firmware release is not intended for use with those oscilloscopes.
There are two downloads: one with firmware and updated documentation (PDF manuals) and a smaller one with firmware only. This download file installs the oscilloscope firmware with complete documentation. To reduce download time, another download file without complete documentation is also available from this site.
Please follow the installation instructions carefully. To simplify obtaining and installing the firmware, you can download the file directory to your instrument while connected to the Internet. However, there is not a requirement to stay connected to the Internet when operating the instrument.
